An impact accelerator serves as a critical platform for early-stage entrepreneurs seeking to generate social, environmental, or economic change while building sustainable and scalable ventures. It provides entrepreneurs not only with essential business tools—such as professional mentoring, access to expert networks, business model development, and investor engagement—but also with a value-driven framework that emphasizes impact measurement, social responsibility, and long-term strategic thinking.
For early-stage ventures, the accelerator reduces knowledge gaps, shortens learning curves, and enables the transition from ideas driven by positive intent into practical, measurable, and scalable solutions, while connecting entrepreneurs to relevant ecosystems and partner networks that support meaningful growth and real impact.
In her role as Head of the Sustainability Center at Shenkar, Dr. Avigail Dolav co-founded and led an Impact Accelerator in collaboration with 8200 Impact, supporting young entrepreneurs in the development of sustainable ventures. These initiatives ranged from applications focused on nutrition and food rescue as part of food security, to textile recycling and the creation of sustainable consumer products.
